Orange City Alive

Reaching the City with the Love of God.

11th November – 20th November 2011

10 days of impacting our city with love and acts of kindness kicking off on 11/11/11

Orange City Alive has been endorsed by the Orange and District Ministers Association and is being run in partnership with Orange City Council.
We believe that it is possible to positively change the spiritual atmosphere of our city, which will benefit the whole population, the prosperity, and the welfare of Orange.  Our aim is to bring hope, peace and restoration for everyone, and to increase the sense of belonging, safety and care for one another that makes Orange such a great place to live.

We will do this by reaching out to the city in November with the love of God through acts of kindness, a free community meal, practical assistance, a free family festival, and street performers (busking, drama and artists).
During Orange City Alive we will also see a number of prayer tents set up around the city where the public will be able to come for encouragement, prayer and ministry.

There will be events each evening featuring some inspirational and life bringing speakers as well as an awesome youth night and a businessman’s breakfast.  Guest speakers include Suzette Hattingh (Voice inthe City), Brian Medway,George Mann, Edgar Mayer & Adam Osbourne.

You may want to get involved and there are many ways to do this from participating in any of the events already mentioned, or using your own personal ministry or unique gifts and talents in a creative way to bless the community.  The scope of what we can do is as big as your imagination.  If you wish to get involved or for more details please contact The Orange Prayer House on 6369 1162.

Orange City Alive isnt just a single event - it is a statement of real hope and vision for our city!
